One of the ...Thanks, DAve and its good to be back! One of the little details I like about this figure is that his spearhead is actually some long lost adventurer's sword tied onto the shaft rather than a proper spear blade. Forest Giant must have a hard time finding weapons in his size, I guess. I have a nice collection of back problems too, mostly keepsakes from the wars. Until Otherworld came out, the old yellow blister packs from I think 1981, sculpted by Chernak, were my hands down favorite official D&D miniatures. I have a collection of their 80's Undead Legion skeletons that I've been needing to paint for years. I've always thought Grenadier's skeletons were far superior to Mousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16662424384597893661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-59617730633617003.post-70384910725175439462021-03-08T08:14:10.814-08:002021-03-08T08:14:10.814-08:00Thanks, Spacecow! How can you tell I've recently had another birthday?davebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07531919635590898334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-59617730633617003.post-12488526712518029942021-03-06T18:39:48.283-08:002021-03-06T18:39:48.283-08:00Welcome back Mouse - hope all is well with you!
...Welcome back Mouse - hope all is well with you!

Great work on the Forest Giant - lovely leather tones and the basing is very effective. I've treated myself to a few Grenadier pieces lately but I obviously need to check out the Giants further. Can't wait to see your take on the Chaos Giant in particular. I'm sure you'd do the Frost Giant justice too!Thantsantshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06902730729032525538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-59617730633617003.post-58600520339717037132021-03-06T14:02:55.810-08:002021-03-06T14:02:55.810-08:00Lovely work on the giant!
